Steves Big Month

What a month for Steve. He got his mission call to the Canada Toronto West Mission just over a week ago, and we've all been really excited since then. I think he is thrilled to be going there, and I know he will really enjoy it. It's amazing how many other people from this area and even from Welling went to the same mission. He leaves January 27, 2010.

Today was a great day too, as we took Steve through the Temple for the first time. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. He's going to try to go to the Temple once a week until he leaves.

It's also been a great month for the rest of the family. Mandy is expecting a boy, and Tiffany also announced that she is expecting. We'll have two new grandchildren in the spring and we can hardly wait. Also last weekend I got to spend some time up in Edmonton with Tyler. I can hardly believe how big he is now, and how much he seems to be able to do for a four month old.

Bev and I also bought some new furniture this month, a couch, a love seat, a Lazy Boy recliner rocker, a dining room table and six chairs, a corner book shelf/cabinet thing, and a beautjful new picture for the living room.

How blessed we've been this month.
